My name is Zebastian Gudmundsson, I work as a PT / Online coach and run the company Reclaim Your Body with the slogan "Dream Big, Start small, Act now." This quote has followed my early adulthood and has been glued to my retinas ever since. I have always been driven by an inner voice that has pushed me to strive for more. A restlessness that has led me to continually push my limits, both mentally and physically.
This resilience is what drove me to become a personal trainer, using my own experience as a competing athlete to help others achieve their goals, proving that nothing is impossible with the right mindset and the right guidance.
With years of experience in both Sweden and England,
Reclaim Your Body´s niches are:
HIIT (high-intensity interval training)
Functional strength training
Obstacle course training (elite and amateur level)
My life has been characterized by sports ever since my early teens when I started boxing. The training, the community, and the discipline got me hooked right away, and I soon started competing, which I continued to do for several years.
When I stopped boxing, I continued to train very intensively, focusing on functional strength training, HIIT, and running. Challenges have always been what drives me, and I soon found a sport full of them – Obstacle Course Racing (OCR). OCR is a sport that has grown exponentially in recent years with leading organizers such as Tough Viking, Toughest, and Spartan Race. The obstacle courses usually run at a distance of 8, 10, or 15 km and consist of about 30-60 obstacles depending on the race. The track is generally in a tough terrain filled with water, slopes, and mud. The obstacles you face while running can be everything from climbing ropes and high walls, to swimming in ice-cold water and having to carry heavy objects over a distance.
Today I compete in OCR at an elite level, in competitions such as the World Cup,
European Championships, and the Nordic Championships.
